Most Companies, in particular in the hospitality, catering and food and beverage industries have a Dress and Personal Appearance Policy for their employees, in particular those that interact directly or are in contact with, the Customer. These policies and requirements are usually part of the conditions of employment, and are therefore enforceable by the company. This Module aims to create an awareness and understanding of how important and therefore necessary Dress and Personal Appearance is to the individual as well as the company, with some reasons behind it's requirements.
Dress and Appearance can be an important impact of Health and general Well-being, but is equally important to the Company's image and success, and has far-reaching implications to both employee, employer and customer.
