This course consists of 4 standard short Modules for the Great White Shark Cage Diving specialty of the Marine (Nature) Site Guide, level 2.
All 4 Modules must be successfully completed for the specialty of conducting WSCD excursions

This is not a Course on its own, but are additional Modules for those Level 2 Marine Site Guides  specialising in White Shark Cage Diving


The Modules should be taken in the order presented, and each completed before proceeding to the next.

The Practical Assignments should motivate the individual learner to research and find out more about local conditions, and other aspects of interest. They should also be answered as if explaining to the visitor/tourist who is on the field or boat trip, so try to make them factual but interesting where possible.


Objectives

To provide some additional details to the learner that relate more specifically to Sharks and their marine habitats.

Target Audience

Those completing the Marine (Nature ) Site Guide, Level 2 course.

They may be taken by those wishing to supplement their knowledge or add to existing skills and qualifications.

Learning Outcomes

Learners should have sufficient basic knowledge and understanding of Sharks to be able to carry out an effective Guided Marine Tour or Shark Cage Diving excursion

Scope & Requirements

Learners studying the Marine (Nature) Site Guide - Level 2 course with speciality of Sharks and Shark Cage Diving, specifically WSCD

Those taking these modules for additional knowledge and/or to supplement existing qualifications and skills only.

Cost

No Charge when taken with the Marine (Nature) Site Guide, Level 2 course.

Free Access is only given for those completing the Nature Site Guide Level 2 Course.

Those wishing to take these as stand-alone Modules may do so at a cost of R 950 pp.
