This course consists of 4 standard short Modules that must be successfully completed for the conduct of Deep Sea Fishing Charters

This is not a Course on its own, but are additional Modules for those Level 2 Marine Site Guides specializing in Fishing Charters

The Modules should be taken in the order presented, and each completed before proceeding to the next.

The Practical Assignments should motivate the individual learner to research and find out more about local conditions, and other aspects of interest. They should also be answered as if explaining to the visitor/tourist who is on the field or boat trip, so try to make them factual but interesting where possible.

Objectives

To provide some additional details to the Learner that relate more specifically to fish and fishing practices.

Target Audience

Those completing the Marine (Nature) Site Guide, Level 2 course.

Thos who are already Tour Guides and wish to do the Modules for further information.

Learning Outcomes

Learners should have sufficient basic knowledge and understanding of Marine and Fish life and species to be able to carry out an effective Deep Sea Fishing Charter

Scope & Requirements

Completion of the modules, Quizes and Assignments of the Marine (Nature) Site Guide, Level 2. If done as stand-alone Modules, all Quizes and assignments need to be completed satisfactorily in order to obtain a Certificate of Completion.

Cost

No Charge when taken with the Marine (Nature) Site Guide, Level 2 course.

Free Access is only given for those completing the Nature Site Guide Level 2 Course.

Those wishing to do these electives as stand-alone Modules, can do them at a charge of R 950 pp.
