In the past 2 weeks COMET.Training has visited 11 more e-centres to launch their training platform for community members, including three centres in and around Ceres, Greyton, Genadendal, Bredasdorp, Elim, Struisbaai, Malmesbury, Grabouw and Paternoster.
After successfully completing a pilot project in 2015 in collaboration with the Western Cape Government, via their Access Centres in Langebaan, Vredenburg and Hawston, COMET.Training is now expanding their e-learning into more than 65 e-centres throughout the Western Cape over the next year.
We are working closely with community members in each area, as well as companies in and around these areas, to determine what education and skills each community needs or would like to learn, so that we can develop and upload the appropriate training material.
This is a very exciting step, as it means more communities will have access to the online learning, building a foundation for a better life, as well as employment or small business creation.
E-learning opportunities for companies and their employees are also available via our Learning Management System, which can be accessed anywhere in the world.
